Franklin & Eleanor Roosevelt shared the same distant ancestors, love, children, and a desire to devote their lives to helping people. In their hearts they found the strength, mutual respect, and courage to face crippling polio and other personal struggles, two world wars, the Great Depression, and four presidential terms of office. Franklin and Eleanor became a famous and remarkable team that led America through some of its most difficult times.
